Differences between apoptosis and necrosis
Leave a message
Although the final results of apoptosis and necrosis are very similar, their processes and manifestations are very different.
Necrosis: Necrosis is a death process in which cells are affected by strong physical, chemical or biological factors to cause disordered changes in cells. It is characterized by cell swelling, membrane rupture, cell content overflow, slow nuclear change, insufficient DNA degradation, and local severe inflammatory reaction.
Apoptosis is a death process in which cells respond to physiological and pathological stimulus signals of the environment, changes in environmental conditions or orderly changes in response to mild damage. The changes of cells and tissues are obviously different from necrosis.
process
1. Apoptosis initiation
2. Apoptosis body formation
3. Apoptotic bodies are gradually engulfed by adjacent cells or phagocytes in the body, and the residual substances of apoptotic cells are digested and reused.
