FGFR-IN-11 is a novel small molecule inhibitor of fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR).
Biological Activity
FGFR-IN-11 is a novel small molecule inhibitor of fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR).
FGFR is a transmembrane receptor tyrosine kinase that plays a crucial role in various biological processes such as cell differentiation, proliferation, and migration. Aberrant FGFR signaling has been implicated in the development of a wide range of diseases including cancer, cardiovascular disease, and bone disorders.
FGFR-IN-11 works by binding to the ATP-binding pocket of FGFR, inhibiting the phosphorylation of the receptor and downstream signaling pathways. This inhibition leads to the suppression of cell proliferation and induction of apoptosis in cancer cells.
Recent studies have shown that FGFR-IN-11 has potent anti-cancer activity against a variety of cancer cell lines including lung cancer, breast cancer, and multiple myeloma. Moreover, it has shown promising results in preclinical animal models, displaying strong anti-tumor effects with little toxicity.
