Immune cell migration-IN-2 targets a protein called Rho-associated coiled-coil kinase 2 (ROCK2).
The inhibition of ROCK2 by Immune cell migration-IN-2 reduces the migratory ability of immune cells. This is because ROCK2 plays a key role in the regulation of the cytoskeleton, which allows cells to move by actively remodeling itself. Immune cell migration-IN-2 inhibits the activity of ROCK2, thereby disrupting the cytoskeleton and inhibiting cell migration.
