Catalog No.: URK-V2530 Only Used For Lab.
MK-0159, also known as Balixafortide, is a novel and selective antagonist of the chemokine receptor CXCR4.
Biological Activity
MK-0159, also known as Balixafortide, is a novel and selective antagonist of the chemokine receptor CXCR4.
Balixafortide also has potential utility as a stem cell mobilizer. By disrupting the CXCR4-SDF1 axis, Balixafortide has been shown to mobilize hematopoietic stem cells into peripheral blood, making them more available for collection in patients undergoing stem cell transplantation.
