WES-1

Catalog No.: URK-V2522 Only Used For Lab.

WES-1 is a small molecule inhibitor that specifically targets the protein tyrosine kinase BMX. BMX plays a critical role in various cellular processes, including signal transduction, proliferation, and survival. Inhibition of BMX has shown to have potential benefits in several oncological applications and autoimmune diseases.

Biological Activity

WES-1 is a small molecule inhibitor that specifically targets the protein tyrosine kinase BMX. BMX plays a critical role in various cellular processes, including signal transduction, proliferation, and survival. Inhibition of BMX has shown to have potential benefits in several oncological applications and autoimmune diseases.
WES-1 is able to reduce the ability of BMX to phosphorylate downstream targets by interacting structurally with the kinase domain of BMX, thereby blocking its catalytic activity.
WES-1 was found to be effective in inhibiting tumor cell growth in a mouse model of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) by suppressing BMX-mediated PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway.
